INFANT PROGRAM:

We recognize that this stage of the children's growth is of curiosity and exploration. Our program concentrates on the developmental goals of this stage through activities such as music, circle-time, crafts and free play with our wide variety of age-appropriate toys. We also emphasize safety and security. Personal care such as feeding, changing and getting them dressed provides the one on one moments that are vital for infants, and the opportunity for that special one on one bonding time.
Each child's day is recorded in their own personal agenda, allowing parents to keep track of their child's sleeping pattern, bowel movements and appetite.
Developmental goals for infants:
Our primary goal in this stage is to develop thinking skills and to encourage language skills, and physical development, as well as to concentrate on parallel play as an introduction to promote social play, and develop a high degree of social and emotional security.
In this stage our focus is:
- To teach children to self-feed and how to use cups and utensils.
- To show interest in getting dressed
- To develop walking, running and climbing.
- To exhibit numerous emotions
TODDLER PROGRAM:
Farmville (18 months to 30 months) Toddlers are full of impulses, energy and emotions. They are in an in between stage in their development. Our toddler program is designed to promote a two-year-old confidence and self-esteem, as well as help them gain control over their emotions, and build language and communication skills. They also love to explore, experiment and have a vast curiosity, which we will help them develop through activities and play. |
Developmental goals for toddlers:
Our main goals are social and emotional in this stage. We work with your child to promote positive self-esteem, to encourage concrete thinking and language development, to begin developing longer attention span, to encourage problem solving techniques, to enhance hand - eye coordination along with physical development, and to reinforce their understanding or socially appropriate behavior.
By the time the children reach Safari Land they are working on using and holding wood pencils and starting age-appropriate worksheets.
In this stage our focus on:
- encourage pride while participating in defined activities.
- encourage use of new vocabulary words and begin formulating sentences
-identify people’s names and objects.
- show an interest in gross motor skills (e.g., running, dancing, kicking, etc.)
- show an interest in fine motor skills (e.g., painting and drawing, etc.)

Our bilingual Preschool program will provide your child with a complete preparation for formal schooling with our comprehensive curriculum.
We work on developing your child language skills by storytelling and literature, daily life skill situations, play etc. A portion of each day is set aside for each child to practice and learn with their very own colorful workbook.

We also offer a wide variety of enriched extracurricular activities provided by outside specialists. The purpose of these activities is to enhance your child's educational experience and help them discover and appreciate their individual uniqueness. They include Yoga, Music, Theater, Hip Hop dance etc. We also go on several field trips a year as part of our program, parents are welcome and encouraged to join us.

A valuable tool we have in this classroom is our workbooks.
In this stage our focus is:
- To develop an awareness of other feelings (empathy)
-Self-confidence and a sense of security
-Trying new things and asking questions, so they are equipped to apply this skill when entering school.
- Behavioral goals, e.g., attentive listening, following of directions, focusing on the task at hand, self-control etc.
